Here’s how to start creating your exit plan:

1. Know your number. What amount would make staying home feel possible? Not luxury, not survival—just enough to create some space. That’s your first target.

2. Audit your skill set. What do people ask you for? What do you already know how to do that could be turned into a digital guide, mini course, or low-ticket offer? Have you gone through a unique traumatic experience or have a life lesson? People 2-5 years behind you want to learn from you.

3. Build a funnel that sells without you being on 24/7. This is where the magic happens. You don’t need to post every day or go viral. You need a funnel that guides people from free or low value to paid offer(s)—automatically.

4. Test it while you’re still working. Before one of you gives notice, start small. Launch the product. Let it run. Tweak and grow. Replace just one bill. Then two. Then three.

Scaling back doesn’t have to mean scaling down your life. It just means being intentional with how your income is made.
