If you're anything like most of my clients, you're sitting on a treasure trove of Google Docs, Canva templates, or sticky note ideas that could be digital products… but you have no idea where to start.
You don’t need more ideas. You need a clear strategy to choose the right product, package it with confidence, and position it in a way that speaks directly to your ideal buyer—especially if you’re marketing to a cold audience.
Let’s break it down.
Step 1: Choose the Right Product to Sell
Here’s a simple way to decide: Look at what you’re already doing that’s saving people time, money, or mistakes—or providing a transformation.
What do people ask me about all the time?
What do I already have sitting in my Drive or Notion that walks someone through a process?
What am I low-key brilliant at that others overthink?
What transformations have I already created for others?
If you're a mom, a service provider, or an overwhelmed entrepreneur—you don’t have time to build something from scratch.
You need to leverage what already exists, and turn it into something simple and specific.
Now here’s where the magic happens—because even the best product won’t sell if no one knows what it does for them. To convert strangers into buyers, rename your offer using this framework:
1. Specific transformation or problem solved
2. The identity of the person it’s for
3. A reference to time or speed
Examples:
“From Burnout to Booked: The Email Template Pack for Overwhelmed Coaches Who Want Clients by Friday”
“Naptime Sales Pages: The Copy Blueprint for Busy Moms Who Want to Sell While They Sleep”
“The Real Estate Open House Toolkit for New Agents Who Don’t Have Time to DIY”
It’s not about being cute—it’s about making it painfully obvious what your product does and who it’s for.
Real Client Case Study
One of my 1:1 clients, a wellness coach and new mom, had a basic Google Doc checklist she used with ALL of her 1:1 clients. It was just sitting in her Drive. She was trying to create an entirely new product that hadn't yet been validated by an audience. Way harder!
We renamed it to: “The Reset Ritual Checklist: A Done-for-You Wellness Routine for Burnt-Out Moms Who Want to Feel Human Again (in 10 minutes a day).”
We turned it into a $9 lead magnet and added an upsell for $49.
In her first month, 17 people bought the offer—off her email list alone.
She didn’t run paid ads. She didn’t post daily.
She just learned how to package and position what she already knew in a way that hit home.
